LOFSORB™ activated carbon filter cartridges

LOFSORB activated carbon filter cartridges are characterized by a very good adsorption capacity, removing unwanted free chlorine and organic compounds from water or other liquids

Features and Benefits

• Economical alternative to granular activated carbon filter cartridges
• Pressed and extruded under high pressure
• Prevent carbon particles from passing into the filtrate
• Excellent adsorption characteristics for chlorine and organic compounds
• Filter material is a bonded porous activated carbon block (85–90% coconut shell, 10–15% others) with HDPE binder
• Pre-filters are made of polypropylene fleece and net for types 01 and 04, and washed polypropylene yarn for type 02
• Gaskets are made of ethylene-octene copolymer for types 01 and 04, and polypropylene for type 02
• Retention ratings of pre-filters: types 01 and 04 are available in 1, 5, and 10 µm, type 02 is available in 5 µm

Filter Materials

• 01: Polypropylene fleece and net, diameter 2.8" (71 mm)
• 02: Washed polypropylene yarn, diameter 2.6" (65 mm)
• 04: Polypropylene fleece and net, diameter 4.3" (110 mm)
